    Detailed Franco-Manitoban Flag Product Description

The Franco-Manitoban flag was adopted on February 17 1980 by the Association of French Canadians of Manitoba, the leading organization among the 5% of the Manitoba population that have a Francophone background.

The flag is white over yellow over red. White makes up two thirds of the height of the flag. Towards the hoist is a green plant emblem in four pieces with the top in the white field and stems reaching down towards the bottom of the flag.

The red stripe represents the Red River, the yellow represents wheat and the green plant emblem makes up two letters "F" back to back. This is the symbol for the Frenchness of the population.

Perfect for proudly displaying your heritage. At FlagMart Canada, we are happy to customize your order or help you to amend it to fit your needs. For other sizes or materials, please reach out via the contact us link.
