Product Description

All of our flags come in 2 different fabric options: standard knitted polyester and premium nylon.

Knitted polyester is our standard fabric and is the most common material for flags worldwide. It offers a great print with approximately 70% bleed-through onto the reverse side. It is a fantastic choice for an economical flag that is both durable yet cost effective.

Nylon is our premium fabric that offers maximum durability and colour penetration of approx. 95%. For reference, nylon is the Canadian Government standard material for flags. These nylon flags can be seen flown outside most hospitals, RCMP detachments, schools, Government buildings, etc.

Detailed Blue Métis Flag Product Description

The Métis Flag was first used by Métis resistance fighters in Canada before the 1816 Battle of Seven Oaks, having been received as a gift from Alexander Macdonnell of the North West Company in 1814. 

The blue background flag has been accepted by the Métis National Council as the official flag of the Métis Nation. The red flag now stands as the provincial ensign for the Métis Nation of Alberta.

The white infinity symbol on the flag represents the faith that the Métis culture shall live on forever.It can also be perceived as two conjoined circles, standing for the unity of two cultures, Aboriginal First Nations and European (primarily French). 

Perfect  for Schools, Government organizations etc. Great for the classroom as a teaching aid.

Not only quality of flags is great, but FlagMart staff are great to work with. Even when I needed a part of my order fixed that I made a mistake on, they made the fix work for me. When I called I spoke to a person right away. Shipping was also only a few days to cross the province after ordering.
Our school bought the Metis flag with grommets for the extra expense, so we can display the flag anywhere. On a wall, office display flag pole or outdoor flag pole flying in the elements. The seams are well sewn and the grommet is secured in extra heavy fabric to take the strain of the wind with no problem.
