Racing flags are finished with a  1" sleeve so a 0.5" wooden dowel can be inserted

A diagonally divided black and white flag is displayed usually with a car number to indicate unsportsmanlike conduct on the track. Used when a car tries to intentionally drive into another car to move it off the course or when the driver gets out of the car for an altercation with another driver. 

The black and white flag can also indicate that a driver has exceeded the track limits, such that the car's two wheels move off the track white line marking the edge of the circuit.

This flag also comes as part of an Instructional Flag Set.
