Detailed Transgender Pride Flag Product Description
This flag was designed by transgender woman Monica Helms in 1999. It was first shown at a pride parade in Pheonix, Arizona in 2000. The flag represents the transgender community and consists of five horizontal stripes: two light blue on the ends of the flag, two pink under and over the blue lines and a white stripe in the centre.
The blue stripes at the top and bottom of the flag are the traditional colour for baby boys. The stripes next to them are pink, the traditional colour for baby girls. The white stripe in the middle is for those who are non-binary, feeling they don't have a gender.
At FlagMart Canada, we supply these flags to government organizations and schools across Canada. We are happy to customize your order or help you to amend it to fit your needs. For other sizes or materials, please reach out via the contact us link.
